It was great watching the "The Christmas Story" (Well... I didn't quite remember the right title but this "" likely suites the show.) live on stage. The Characters were good, I believe "pros" enough to please everyone. With their good singing, coupled with dancing and acting skills, they really made my spirit high.
The show was scheduled to start at 6:00 P.M. and ended for about an hour. My family was truly pleased.
It was a school event of our "bunso" as sponsored by Canossa Elementary School's PTA, to be at the Enchanted Kingdom with the whole family. The objective of the project was for a tighter family bond between family members, through this "family bonding day" which was a day after my 57th birthday last January 22, 2016.
Because of the said event the following day, we shared a humble meal during my birthday.
Maraming salamat aking mga mahal for the foods we shared on my 57th birthday. I love you all!
We arrived E.K. at about 11:45 A.M., almost an hour ride from home (20 minutes without traffic) which is only about 5.4 kilometers away. The traffic was unusually monstrous caused by the several and different school buses and vehicles who apparently took the opportunity with the discounted E.K. ticket price which jammed the entrance.
As one of the attractions and entertainments at Enchanted Kingdom, Sta. Rosa City is this Stairway that leads to the buzzer button atop the stairs. You win a price (stuff doll) once you pound on the buzzer button. These Koreans (I think, and with due respect to them as I post this vid clip) guests seemed to have enjoyed this game while our enjoyment went by just watching her play the game.
Happy Meal
We took a light lunch as the kids suggested, to lessen the load to "throw-up"? Well... I guess they're right! Ahahahahaha...
Food:
Shoot Those Glasses Anyone?
Ilapit mo pa paul!!!
P50.00 for 1 shot? Haha... 3 mga SABLAY!!! Ahahahahahaha...
Anchor's Away
"Experience casting off on a pirate ship and sail over imaginary waves in pendulum motion. This ship can accommodate up to 50 riders and from full stop, swings back and forth until it reaches a maximum angle of 70 degrees."
Waiting in line for at least an hour before you can take the ride.
Huh? Experience the what? Nah... I'll never ride Anchor's Away in my entire life... never again, maybe not now! Don't ask me why... please? Ahahahahahahaha...
Well... I have been suffering from acute rhinitis, and now sinusitis for several years now (Allergies are usually hard to cure if ever there is cure.), and this ride somehow created a pressure in my head (Sinuses, I think?) which made me half deaf for maybe an hour or a bit more. This same pressure took my balance away giving me a dizzy sensation that made me rest for a while, and passed the bump car ride. Haaayyy... I felt sorry I wasn't able to join my family in this classic but fun ride.
Anchor's Away was indeed an exciting ride though.
Pizza Treat:
We just love this pizza pocket, only from Pizza Hut. Yummy!
After that pizza treat...
The 7D Movie Theater Experience
Featuring: Zombies
One of the best for this event was to experience the first and only (so they say...) 7D Interactive Motion Theater in the Philippines (ah... ok.).
We experienced an interactive encounter with the "Zombies", with great surprises and effects that will make you feel you were really there!
In 7D, you'll experience the cool wind (well, there is a centralized airconditioning system), lighting effects, interactive seat motions and bumps with interactive laser guns to shoot the zombies. Awesome!
Best shooters will be scored and ranked during, and at the end of the encounter. I took the 8th place (I can't believe this... I can't remember the numbers of civilians I shot though. Ahahahahaha...) My children and my labs really enjoyed this one. It was a great experience and would like to "check-in" again for a much more better score. Ahahahahahaha...
Featuring: RIO
Watch the Rio movie trailer:
This 4D is truly amazing! The snow, the drizzle, water splash, bubbles, seat motions, bumps and pinch at the back? What an unforgettable experience. This is not our first time to struggle along with the long and tiresome line, but it's worth it, with the different shows to experience on different occasions.
Waiting in line for several minutes, this boy's t-shirt caught my attention as I wondered if he did know the Beatles?
Finally, for more than an hour of waiting in line...
Awesome!
Just the two of us! If only the carriage was closed and tinted... it would have been great at the peak. Ahahahahahaha...
Well, the first 360 rotation was the loading/unloading and balancing of the passengers. 3 more full rotations to complete the ride. I love the overview of the E.K. during the night than in the daylight. Pretty cool experience.
Here, Josh seemed to have enjoyed the wheel... well, did he? Ahahahahaha...
